PRESS: Ministry wants ppty managers costs compensated by operators
MOSCOW, Sep 28 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Digital Development Ministry has suggested that operators should develop a way to compensate residential management companies for hosting connection equipment, business daily Kommersant reported on Monday.
The compensation mechanism should include a single payment for “technical surveillance” and monthly payments if an operator hands over a part of duties to a management company.
The law on connection obliges property owners to claim from connection operators some payment for the use of infrastructure.
Connection operators said they already pay hundreds of millions of rubles for access to houses. The Federal Antimonopoly Service valued such expenses of operators at 2.7 billion rubles annually.
